Excellent service and very comfortable rooms. Marlyn checked us in and she couldn't have been nicer. Breakfast was tasty and well stocked. This is a very comfortable budget motel and our new favorite stay in the Mount Vernon area.

We recently stayed at the Mount Vernon Quality Inn and were disappointed by some aspects of our experience. One major issue was the misleading claim about breakfast. It’s advertised as being available until 9 a.m., but in reality, it’s only available until the food runs out—and it doesn’t get refilled. If you don’t arrive early, you’re likely to miss out entirely. This was frustrating and felt deceptive.

On the positive side, the room itself was clean and in good shape, which we appreciated. However, the shower drained very slowly, which was inconvenient.

Overall, while the cleanliness of the room was good, the breakfast situation and minor maintenance issues left us dissatisfied. It’s disappointing when expectations aren’t met, especially with something as simple as breakfast.

A bit too passive aggressive for a man named Carlos. One of the cheaper rooms in town but you get what you pay for. Food was bland, wet, and cold. Plenty of improving to do, especially in the customer service

We rented a 2 Floor suite the layout and colors are not like the pictures.
The suite had a slight musty smell the top floor bathroom had no shower curtain.
Room was clean and beds were cleaned and comfortable and everything was spacious it was perfect for our family.
If they can use something to absorb the musty smell from the rooms I’m sure they would get a 5 star it’s the little things that matter and make a difference.
Staff was nice and helpful.
So,besides the slight smell everything else was ok.

The Quality Inn in Mount Vernon is awesome! Many of the suites have two floors, each with their own bathrooms and heating/air conditioning, for two-person relaxation! Leilani at the front desk is incredibly nice and wonderful! As a regular customer, I definitely will be coming back!

We checked in to room 316 as soon as we open the door it immediately STUNK of smoking vinyl floor was a plus, but the sheets/bedding did not smell clean at all almost like pee. We switched into 103 (ada) which was slightly better although it had carpet. bed was soft and comfy and it seemed cleaner overall. It's pretty wild how you can't expect a clean non Smelly room these days overall it was OKAY but I'm starting to rethink these budget hotels.

The breakfast is your typical hotel breakfast cereal, yogurt, breads waffles, eggs and sausage biscuits and gravy.

Would not accept my registered service animal because she wasn't "wearing her vest".
The rooms were dingy.
The bathroom had mold in it.
White stains on the chairs.
Pool had no air circulation.
Spa "jets" didn't work.
Wouldn't let us eat breakfast in our room.
You get what you pay for.
