were the cakes good? yes. were they worth $16 per slice? no!

the cakes are certainly the best crepe cakes i’ve tried, but $16? without tax? crazy. i wish they had a nicer interior decor to make up for it but they don’t. the matcha flavoured one was very nice, rich but not bitter. and i was pleasantly surprised that even the “plain”/ original flavour was very yummy too.

the staff were helpful and even provided a candle and a lighter for us.

overall, definitely worth to try out when you want to treat urself (birthdays) but other than that i don’t see myself paying $16+ per slice when i can get 2 yummy slices for the same price elsewhere.

Incredibly disappointed by my recent experience at Lady M Champagne Bar.

Upon arrival at noon on a weekend, we were left standing at the counter for a good 10 minutes with no staff in sight.

When someone finally appeared, we were surprised and let down to learn that they weren't serving any mains during lunch hours – only cakes and coffee were available. This was a major disappointment as we were hoping for a more substantial meal (sandwiches).

Despite the lack of other customers, the service was incredibly slow. We waited an unreasonably long time for our cakes to arrive after ordering.

The overall experience was such a letdown that we didn't even enjoy the cakes, which is a shame because Lady M is known for its quality.

For a place with such a reputation and price point, this was unacceptable. The lack of staff, limited menu during prime lunch hours, and slow service created a truly underwhelming experience. I wouldn't recommend this location and won't be returning.

Pretty good cakes but didn’t really wow me. Service is slow because the place is understaffed. Didn’t get to try the pistachio mille crepe which was sold out.

Best mille crepes I’ve ever eaten. Both the tiramisu and original flavors were not too sweet. The ratio between crepes and cream was perfectly balanced. We devoured the whole thing in one sitting. Be aware that the store doesn’t accept cash.

We sat down to enjoy our meal, having paid fairly, but the sole employee working seemed overwhelmed, offering no response and wearing a very unpleasant expression. Throughout our time having tea and cake, it was extremely uncomfortable to place our order. I have no idea why such a large establishment would leave one person to handle everything alone, but it's incredibly frustrating to spend both money and time in such an uncomfortable environment.

This is our first time trying out their crepe and cake. Overall the taste is pretty good. Signature Crepe is creamy and fragrant. Mango Shortcake is moist and soft. But still find them overpriced for such a small slice. The lady who served us was very polite.

We tried Lady M cakes first time in NYC and love them since.

We did the reserch on this shop before travelling to SG. This is one of the reasons we visited Singapore LOL
It was not easy to find as no one knows about this shop. Now we already know where it is, it is not that difficult. You can take a subway to Orchard, then ask the reception 🙂

Overall a good experience at this particular Lady M, cake still taste well and the tea is pretty good. Was there on a Sunday afternoon, which can get a bit busy but there were only two staff on the floor which cause a delay in service and lack of attention. Something to watch on staffing if known busy period are tracked on your system.

Still recommended for those to give it a try if you wanna take a break after shopping around ION.
