Fantastic comic book store. I've been going here since the 80s and the shop has never looked better! Great selection of both new and back issues. Great selection of graded and wall books. Massive shelves of trade paperbacks and graphic novels. Truly inspired set up of loose figures. Very friendly staff. I've been shopping funny books in DFW for over 30 years and Duncanville Bookstore is one of the shops I've ever been in.

I love the layout of the store and how well organized everything is. It's interesting in how well laid out things are,especially the back issues having fixed price sections, discount sections, and the expected price as labeled. The back issues are organized alphabetically and mostly in order so you won't have different issues from different runs getting in the way. Fairly priced stuff overall and having a section for complete story sets genuinely surprised me. My only gripe, and its more of a personal nitpick, is that some of the trade paperbacks have discolored spines, which I sort of understand why, but I wish care was extended to those in the event someone wanted to buy them.

The COMIC TOUR LIVES!! It's good to be back!! Found this little gem in Duncanville TX. Great selection of comics. Tons of back issues, games, bust and statues! Staff is awesome! Very friendly and knowledgeable! A must stop for us comic nerds if your in the area!! Enjoy 👍👍

I came here around the weekend looking to sell some of my Funko pops that I weren't really into anymore, I only came here twice and after the second visit I'm never coming back again. The first visit to this store was great, the person working the cashier was kind and gave me an offer for my Funko pops at a somewhat reasonable price, I decided to check other places and keep the offer on a maybe, I came back 2 days later to accept the offer but there was another cashier and the moment I stepped in he was giving me a bad look. I told him that I was just here to see if I can sell them and he just took a glimpse at my Funko pops and said no. Just a straight up no. He was very rude and from that point on I'm never going back to this store ever again.

Been coming here for a while to buy/sell or just to look around but probably won’t be coming back due to my last visit. Came in to get rid of some figures, greeted the employee & he looked annoyed, didn’t even answer me just grabs 1 figure out of the 10+ that I brought in and says “we don’t buy mcfarlane” that’s it.
I’ve never seen this worker but usually when I come in the customer service is great but looking at other reviews it seems like a certain employee isn’t so great with customers.

This place is a collectors dream. Definitely worth a visit if you’re into collectibles, toys or comics. I saw they had posted a funko pop I wanted on instagram and I actually gave them a call about it. The store manager was able to find it for me by the time I got there which I really appreciate! They have literally hundreds of funko pops so it would’ve taken me some time. Will be back for more!

The store has a fantastic selection of not only comic books, but game accessories, posters, and other memorabilia. The staff is very up to date on current trends. They are very friendly and take time to discuss your interests with you!
