In response to mr geartner who only created his profile to cancel another human being without even reviewing all the facts, reading the article or for that matter have any interest in beer, this is for you . This column had been around for 20 years and if anyone knew this they would have understood it was fantasy. After Me too, this column was poorly advised but having read him for 20 yrs, I knew how he meant it to address me to, not pile on. It did not come across that way and that is unfortunate. As a woman I am not offended while acknowledging others might be, without any background of knowing the writer. He is the most decent human man I have the privilege of knowing and not at all the neanderthal some have made him out to be. I hope to God none of you fall victim to this. For the rest of you 'enlightened' cowardly Brewers that couldn't wait to pile on? Shame.

The latest issue of Great Lakes Brewing News contains an article written by the owner of the publication, Bill Metzger, that goes way over the line of good taste into just plain insulting, gender shaming, sexist garbage that one would expect to read in a men's magazine from the 1960's, not in a craft beer enthusiast publication printed in 2019.
