This bookstore is amazing! There are books all the way to the ceiling, big place and have used, out of print and collectibles. Even books from the 1800's! Amazing to just see them all. Came across Thomas Jefferson notes, 20 volumes.. just impressive! Moms a big reader and can spend an hour here easily

This used to be one of my favorite used bookstores growing up. I would often find myself there when I was done with school for the day and was able to find several classic literature books that I longed to read. The usual older gentleman that ran the front counter was very kind and helpful with his knowledge. I went back there today (since I no longer live in the area) to find that the store was under new ownership. While the new ownership isn’t a bad thing, the sections of books seemed to have changed quite a bit (as had my reading preferences) and I couldn’t seem to find anything relating to women’s studies and feminism at first glance. I finally found a couple books on feminism intertwined with books on sex, erotica, and child rearing/motherhood. I found that pretty insulting as other used bookstores have a section for that on their own, at least, as do commercially full priced bookstores. The selection on middle eastern/Palestinian history and literature also used to be larger when I was young and now it’s combined to two shelves. Dawkins and Hitchens used to be interspersed within the religious section, as well as other religions aside from Christianity.

Chances are inevitable, of course, but I would hope that in the future the shop will create sections that reflect the times and focus on expanding sections that they’re lacking in.

Wonderful bookstore! There's a great selection and the folks who work there are incredibly kind. I went here for many years before relocating. I will be hard pressed to replace Easton Books as my go-to bookstore. Check it out if you're in Skagit County!

Selection is wide and not just recent books. I found a number of very old gems that I was tempted to buy. I ended up not buying them, so I cannot comment on staff interactions. Prices seemed reasonable.

Hands down the best used book store. You could order something from the online book store (rhymes with whamazon) but check Easton's before "add to cart" and have a book in your hands today. There's a robust floor-to-ceiling library of books at your disposal. If you can't find something, you aren't looking hard enough. The hunt is half the fun!
