This place is a gem, the best place for breakfast that we have tried in Maryland with a real coffee ☕️. The service is fenomenal and the food is high quality and delicious! We had the Ninja Turtle latte, the smoke hash, breakfast burrito, and a side of French toasts. This will be now our breakfast place!

Loved the food, the prices, and the service. A cute and cozy restaurant in the heart of downtown Frederick. Lovely place to take a break from the shopping you're going to do in the stores around it. Mostly small businesses with unique stuff and lovely people. Make sure you visit!

Look over here all my vegetarian friends!! This place has SO many vegetarian options, even tempeh!! We were very pleased with the menu and the food was amazing! The tempeh sandwich and the veggie burger with pretzel bun were better than we thought. The staff were so friendly and I will for sure come back!!!!

This was our second visit to Cafe Nola. The first time we were turned away, told they weren't seating anyone else that afternoon. Needless to say we were anxious to try this hot spot. We were sat right next to the door, which was unfortunate, as an icy draft came in every time someone entered or exited. My date got coffee, but I was told they were out of Diet Coke, and had no other sugar free options, so water it was. I was told the coffee was excellent. Later she got a Cafe Mocha, which apparently was also great. We started with the Southwest eggrolls, with a smokey tomato mayo. They were crispy and delicious. I ordered the bagel and lox sandwich with fried capers. The bagel should have been toasted, but otherwise it was very good. The pickled onions were a nice touch. That's where the good ends. My date ordered the coffee rubbed steak and eggs. She said the coffee was gritty and unpleasant in her mouth, the steak was otherwise unseasoned, and very watery. As she cut into her steak, the entire plate was a pool of liquid, making the eggs and potatoes soggy. Our service was very underwhelming. Our server was not very pleasant, never checked on us to see how we liked our food, and when he came to collect our dishes and saw the steak had barely been touched, didn't inquire or offer a to-go box. Would probably return for coffee and apps, but was not impressed with much else. Lunch for two was $60.

This is roughly my fourth time getting a coffee/hot drink there recently (within the last 2 months). Every. Single. Time. There is less and less liquid in the cup- regardless of what I purchase (medium/large). I would also like to note that the majority of the time I order, the employee is rude & barely speaks to me/customers. I really used to love this place but dang, I can’t keep convincing myself it’s as good as it once was.

This is a very day time businessy casual but also some how still trendy location. I love the latte choices, and the ingredients seem to go beyond simple flavoring syrups. This I greatly appreciate. I had the Banana’s Foster Latte and was flavorful without being overly sweet. The chorizo hash was great, the eggs were perfectly poached and spilled beautifully. Staff friendly, fast, and able to read the room. I needed to get in and get out and they wasted no time getting my order, check, and food. I’d recommend stopping here to anyone looking for more than diner food.

Stopped here on a whim on a very cold day in Frederick and boy are we glad we did! The atmosphere was cosy, the food was excellent and although they were slow to seat us, our waitress Savannah was very pleasant and made some excellent recommendations. We ordered a Rose latte and a steak and cheese sandwich with sweet potatoe fries to share and everything was delicious! We will be back!
