Suz has made something lovely and inviting here. A great selection of diner hotplate fare and wonderful coffee and tea options. The bookstore curls around with the seating for the cafe, and because it's a house-turned-store, it feels very comfortable and homey.

When I came by, it was fairly quiet, and Suz was able to meet my requests for some food adjustments with ease. It's just a pleasant place to hang out.

The bookstore is a non-profit run by volunteers who love books, so they can help you find whatever you need. Because buying local is preferable, I suggest seeking books on Amazon, then coming to the local store to have them order it instead.

Dog Ears is one of my favorite cafes in all of Buffalo. I've been there many times, and I keep coming back. The food is delicious and affordable, and it's fun to play a board game or browse the bookstore after the meal is done.

I love 5 mins away from Dog Ears and it is so convenient to come here. They serve amazing food for good prices. The staff is so friendly and it made me wanna come back. Would definitely recommend.

Dog Ears has a special place in my heart. I've only been a fan for a year, but it would've been sooner. I just started working out in this area for a year. Catherine and Clare know my drinks and food selection so well, it wouldn't surprise me if I walked in with it ready to go. I've enjoyed many different menu items from the smoothies, salads, and even their seasonal suggestions. I'm a little bit of a crazy lady when it comes to their tomato soup... if only I can get my hands on a recipe..
Anyways, big fan of the staff, the food, the atmosphere. I will continuously devote my time and paycheck to their cafe.

📚☕️ I had a marvelous time today at Dog Ears Bookstore & Café in Buffalo! What a charming place. The staff are wonderful, the place is so cozy, and the food is delicious. AND all proceeds from the bookstore go directly to programs that promote children’s creativity and literacy throughout WNY! 😃How awesome is that?! They even have a little literary trivia game on the spiral staircase. I’m in love with this place.
