Half Price Books - Everett, Washington

This is the first time I have been to this Half Price Books in a couple years. They have a great book selection and great prices, but the person at the register seemed uncomfortable with the books I was purchasing and showed it quite bluntly. Book selection and prices= 5/5.. Customer service= 2/5. I have had much more positive experiences at the Lynnwood location, less biased workers.

I’ve bought books before but I went to sell my books. Some were brand new, some only read once. Apparently we had quite a few that weren’t ’popular’ right now. Really low lump sum price, no discussion on them being in fantastic condition, some hardbacks, some cookbooks, some that were limited printing. Would not go back to sell them. Might go back to buy

I've always enjoyed this location. Been coming here for years. Put items on hold a few times and am always excited about unique items, books, magazines, and figures/games we have discovered or even rediscovered from years ago 🙂

It was a great first trip to a half price books for me on Sunday I brought in about 50 books & graphic novels and a dozen CUd's and they paid me $76 for all of it which was honestly more than I expected and was happy with that price knowing how easily the value of books depreciate. While waiting for them to look at all the books I brought in and browsed the store and was surprised at how much different stuff they had not only do they have books but they had records CDs video games graphic novels toys bobbleheads Funko Pops and all kinds of other stuff I didn't know Half Price Books had all this cool stuff inside until yesterday definitely going to have to come in here and do some shopping one day great first experience.

They offer exactly what the name says: half-price books. I was pleasantly surprised to find they had new releases. Exceptional place to find a quality read.

This store is so fun to browse! I've been in a few times before to pick up online orders - super easy. This time I made it all the way to the back, and there's so much variety.

I wasn't expecting to find the games, puzzles, and funko pops. There's a lot of DVDs, some CDs and LPs, small collection of comics, some video games and related accessories. I didn't look closely at most of that, but did notice a big price range for LPs -- about $5 for a Neil Diamond and $25 for.Duran Duran, with some variation on the title, but I'm guessing maybe also condition. That back area is where you go if you have items you want to sell to the store.

The book selection is nice. I mostly looked at fiction/literature, and it's a good blend of classics, bestsellers, acclaimed, and lesser known. Some titles will have multiple new copies and others will have only one well worn copy. I found all three authors I was looking for but different titles than I'd hoped to find. I could have checked the inventory easily on the web, but I was happy this time to explore.

There was a good amount of non-fiction that seemed to be well-organized, and other fiction genres like YA, western, and romance. There's a lot of sci-fi and mystery paperbacks, and a good sized kids section.

On top of that, the front of the store has an assortment of gift items. Bookmarks, greeting cards, beautiful journals, puzzles, and even socks. And the staff I've interacted with has been consistently helpful and friendly.

I'm looking forward to my next visit.
