Excellent stop on Carrousel of Nations weekend. Very friendly service from the moment we walked through the door. Authentic home cooked food was exceptional. Great selection of German draft beer.

Heimat Oktoberfest is always fun. It’s great for the whole family. It was raining but we were all comfy inside. Service was great and the food was so fresh and delicious. It’s a must do every year. Ticket sell fast so be sure to get them early next year. I think we booked almost 2 months before.
The only downside is that there regular hours are very limited or I would go more often.
Went here on a Friday evening and the service was great from Sean downstairs. Cabbage rolls are so good and kasespezle is a must try. The poutine with crumbled brat with Swiss cheese was a great appetizer. Jagerschnitzel is amazing

First time here, we came for the Mother's Day brunch and it was great. The online reservation were full but when I e-mailed they said any open seats or outside is available. We decided to sit outside and it was a good choice because you can't go anywhere without a child having a melt down. We were all by ourselves and it was nice and quiet outside, plus the weather was beautiful so we enjoyed a little bit of sun.

Now down to the food, everything was great, we had the traditional breakfast fare of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, seasoned potatoes, fruit, french toast ( amazing) , pork schnitzel ( also amazing) ,pasta, toast, bagels, pretzels with 2 types of egg in them, a meat and cheese tray and cereal for the kids. They also had deserts but we were so full we didn't even dare go near them.

The price was very reasonable, I would rather pay $25.50 for the food I am going to eat and enjoy than fogolar or ciacario club of $50 per person and not eat half of the items.

We will definitely come back here another time for dinner to try their regular menu items. Maybe we can make it for the carousel this year.

Bavaria is now in Windsor. Authentic Bavarian dishes including my favourite new addition the pepper pretzel (Pfeffer Bretzel).

A popular new pretzel only in Bavaria is now available in Windsor.

Great variety of German beers, including the Paulaner Doppel Boch.

Always great food and good portions.

Give it a try, no passport required just hunger and thirst!

Hands down one of our favourite places to eat as a family in the city! It feels like a hidden gem. Sitting outside in the beirgatren always feels like we’re somplace else, and it gives our kids the chance to wander a little without being a disruption. And the service is always top-notch. We almost always seem to have the same server, Sean I believe is his name, and he always makes our experience exceptional! The food is SO good we think about it until we go back the next time! The schnitzel and kspatzle are my favourites and my husband always raves about the beer. Lots of options for kids too. (My kids could eat a whole plate of the spatzle and they love the pretzels and “pizza”. So glad to have Heimat in the city!!!

Such a great place to come with family and friends to enjoy really great German beer and food. Soft pretzels are delicious and they have some really good Shcnitzel, sausage, sauerkraut, potato salad, it's all delicious.

Make sure you check the weather because seating is outside, but the owner states in a pinch he could set something up in the banquet hall if it were to rain.

Delicious schnitzel, quality food. We got the cheese dip, soft pretzels, and chicken schnitzel dinner. All were very tasty. Highly recommend.
