I have been in the store several times because it's and right off of the freeway... There merchandise is overpriced... But the one thing I couldn't get over is that the man behind the counter is the unhappiest and the rudest individual that I have ever met. He either hates people or maybe he hates his job... Absolutely a very unpleasant experience, I was completely uncomfortable asking him questions about things inside the store. The place is slightly dirty and very out-of-date. I really won't be returning.

I asked for a battery. He tried to sell me a charger and some empty carts but refused to acknowledge the batteries I could clearly see in the case. ~2am visit after flying in, I was depending on y’all smh

Lol this place is iconic. POV: it’s 3:30 am, your friends and you want anything under the Sun, and in this case: whippets… to help extend the joy and bliss of the night.

If it’s your first time here, you will be destroyed by the sassy and crass of Misery incarnate. Fortunately however, if you talk while he talks while still comprehending the steps of the transaction he must perform to get you out of there! Not only does he get annoyed ane loses his voice… but if you jokingly ask if he wants any of your stuff to share since there’s no way you could be him festering in boredom; then then say you’re just kidding, he will just just stare at you while he considers how stupid you are while not speaking and letting you leave in peace while you leave with your piece while you been knew!

I usually love this place bc I am able to get different outfits that alot of other stores don't have but it is usually a real cool girl in there that is very helpful but this time the man working there was not helpful and he was slow and my husband and I bought two costumes and he took everything out of each one of them and when I got home he still forgot to put the hat that comes with the cowgirl outfit and it clearly says on the package that the hat comes with it. I was very disappointed and I don't even want to go there anymore and this store is a hidden gem and it was one of my top 3 stores like this in Houston. Now we just pass it by I wish they get better workers and more merchandise. I made that review a few years ago but now I know why the man had to take everything out of the bag. This time I bought two costumes and I am satisfied and will be going back #redemption

That place is like a third world country. I couldn't even call it ghetto. It was like something out of a movie. The only reason I'd suggest you go, is to see it with your own eyes. As soon as I walked in, there was a couple arguing with the clerk. The clerk was beyond rude. And everything in there is knockoff brands that you can purchase online for a FOURTH of the price they're asking. The only good thing I can say is they're open 24hrs but I honestly wish they were shut down completely after the experience I had with the clerk. I couldn't ask him a question without getting a very rude answer back. It took me everything not to lose my cool. I had to consider he's probably miserable and hates his life, and there would be no point in arguing with the guy, I had every right to leave and take my business elsewhere, which I did. Don't waste your time.

Went in there for a second to use the restroom, which is unavailable to the public and understandably so. They make you show your ID briefly to verify your age. Their selection of magazines is very extensive. The employee that was on duty when I went was very polite. When visiting though, you get the feel it is in a shady area of Houston. Fortunately I had no problems and rather enjoyed their selection of magazines. EDIT:: After reading these reviews I'd like to clarify that the older black man I encountered at the register was very blunt and straight forward with his request to see my ID. I can understand how many might be intimidated or otherwise get upset over this. People these days get their feeling hurt way too easy. To me he seemed like an old guy who doesn't have time for anything accept what needs to be done. Although that may not be great for customer service, I did not find him to be rude.

I paid with cash. I figure I had by debit card in me so I decided to pay debit. The "CASHIM" announced to me that it was too late because the transaction was complete. I remember being in elementary. And I know for a fact that it certainly was not. That is the easiest form of return on the planet. I had to ask him 'was the world about to end at that moment" Then I probably would have went for that lame excuse. Maybe...😉
