Had no idea this store existed (to be fair, I rarely venture to Eastern Market and had not been south of F St in years) but I am so happy it does. A great selection of books from every genre. Heavy focus on LGBTQ+ authors and stories but they don’t limit themselves to that at all. And the employees are very kind and helpful to boot.

This is the most darling book shop. There’s something for everyone, the staff is super helpful, and the offerings are very inclusive and queer friendly! There are graphic novels available and some fun pins as well. Overall this is a favorite and I stop by whenever I can. We’re lucky to have such a delightful safe space that values queer experiences told in their own words.

Just the other day, I had been thinking about how dedicated LGBTQ bookstores are basically a thing of the past and how unfortunate that was. Then today I walked past this bookstore: a Pride-themed display in the window, fairly standard for many stores in June, but a good enough reason to go in. After some browsing, I realized ALL the books were queer. I live in Bethesda, so it's a bit of a hike, but I will definitely be making my way back here more in the future.

A wonderful, small indie bookstore on Barracks Row!! I’m hoping this place gets more hype/publicity soon, because it deserves it. Despite being fairly small, the selection is well curated. Almost all the books are either written by queer authors, have LGBTQ characters, or center queerness somehow. I loved the nonfiction and romance sections the most as I felt they had great selections. Their YA section also seems super robust. Recommending to all of my bookish friends and hope to return soon.
