As a lifelong Customer, I was terribly disappointed with my experience with this location. I gave a lot of leeway to have the issues fixed. Alas, everything fell on deaf ears and I'm the owner of $1000 broken equipment.

This is a great store to check out for any musician. The staff are personable and knowledgeable which makes the experience all the better. Long & McQuade has a nice, sizeable selection of acoustic and electric guitars but I found their bass selection gradually shrinking since I purchased my Ric.

I love that they rent guitars as well with variable timelines - it makes having a guitar so readily accessible all the more convenient due to any unforeseen circumstance or jam (yes, pun).

It's been a while since I had a guitar setup done there and I was a little disappointed to find that the performance warranty doesn't cover the cost anymore. I've had all my guitars covered under warranty for over ten years there, which kind of feels like a waste at this point. I cannot recall being notified of the change either, which would have altered my decision on keeping the warranty much sooner.

Other than that it's a great store. The accessories, amps, and other gear is quite ambudant, and the store itself is spacious which provides a lot of comfort when looking to play some instruments.

I saw a guitar on the LM website that was available only at the St. John’s store. I inquired about the guitar via email and within an hour I received a phone call from Asst. Manager Craig - who was happy to answer all of my questions and put my mind at ease about the condition of the guitar and having it shipped from St. John’s to the GTA. My decision-making process took a while (weeks). Throughout it, Craig was patient and always ready to answer questions and provide photos. Once I bought the guitar, the great service didn’t end. I was informed of updates and tracking via phone and email. After about a week of playing the guitar, I got a follow up call from Craig checking in and thanking me for the purchase. Exemplary service. Thank you!

Awesome Service ! Been in a few times the past couple of months and I have to say that it has been the best service I have seen of any business in the Metro area since I can remember. Incredibly helpful staff . Big shout out to all the great staff for the help and great treatment and to Dave Ryan who has been especially helpful in choosing what I needed. Wish more stores here locally could learn how customer service works like L&M.....

A guaranteed place for music instruments, can be purchased brand new and refurbished. Lots of brands to choose from. World known brands like Ibanez, Jacksons, Gibsons, Dean, etc are available ready for purchase.

This place does guitar repairs, setups and part changes. You can either bring in your own 3rd party parts or purchase from L&M itself according to availability. All in all a great place for your music instrument.
