Such a great experience doing the curbside pickup! Ordered almost 40 bags of mulch and soil, they prepared the order within a few hours, and even helped me load it into my car! Amy and Jack were so helpful and even held the bags that wouldn't fit into my car until we offloaded at home and came back later! Definitely going to this store for future projects!!

We purchased carpeting from the Mt Vernon Lowe’s in late fall of 2023. We noticed in early 2024 after the install that the seams were visible in two rooms, and there were several fibers pulling out of the carpeting everywhere. In early spring 2024, we contacted Lowe’s and they sent someone from their installation team out to take a look in July. They looked around and noticed all the loose fibers as well as the seams. They told us the carpeting had failed and said it was a manufacturers problem, and submitted that report back to Lowe’s. We were contacted again to have someone from the manufacturer come take a look. They came out in August. Their response was that it was an install issue. I have spoken with customer services several times, and a supervisor of the installation team once. The customer service rep tells me they will get back to me in two business days, and weeks go by without a response. I call again and it starts all over. They all say that Lowe’s will take care of us, yet they have taken no other action and here we are still with the failed carpeting a year later. No actual action has taken place, and nobody has taken responsibility except to say they are waiting on “The Field Provider Manager, Michael Tolman,” to take some action. In my world, waiting is not an action. We are beyond disappointed both with the carpeting and the customer service. Hopefully this gets resolved sometime soon, but I have lost confidence in their ability to do anything quickly with the customer in mind.

Shopped for dishwasher in July 2024 and felt like their sales pkg was good. After 2 months my promised $250 gift card has never appeared. Calling them to ask about it only got me the old shuffle trick. My opinion? When they advertise free installation and then promise to refund that cost with a gift card, they hope they can frustrate you enough to make you give up and they save $$$$. Don't do any 'deals' with Lowe's.

I thought purchasing floors through a company like lowes would be easy and straightforward. I changed my choice of flooring twice because of items on backorder. Once I finally placed my order I have been waiting over 4 weeks for two pieces of molding..I have been told multiple times that other local stores do not have this product available. I finally decide to check for myself and every store in a 30 mile radius has this product. Asked help desk why they are unable to request it from these stores. No answers. Told them I will pick it up myself if that makes it faster. They told me it's probably best if I do it and they will reimburse me!! Unbelievable. I paid a lot of money and I have to waste my time and gas to finish the job. Not happy. would not recommend. Might just request full refund and go with another company that will take this seriously.

So I’ve been to three different Lowe’s over the last two months. So far taken back 100% of the items that I purchased because they didn’t function as specified. Customer service is lacking in all three locations.

Lowes changed the return policy for power tools, and it was after the date i purchased it. Went to swap out broken tool (within 30 days or original purchase) and said the new policy is in effect and would have to work directly with toro. Wouldn't honor the fact i bought tool before the return policy changed. I even called customer service to see if this was the case.

Just needed a few cedar roof shakes for my birdhouse project and all they had were big bundles for a lot of money. I found a few loose ones on the floor around the bundles and when I asked a staff member if they would sell just a few the guy told me I could just have them. Awesome! Lowes saved the day & my project!

I was surprised that they have plants that are dying and are still regular price. But other than that I quickly found what I was looking for and the cashier was very nice
