Not only is it the biggest comic, book & collectible selection you'll ever find -- from vintage & rare action figs, Pops, posters, autographs, life-size props, memorabilia and models -- but it's constantly changing. It's a destination well worth your visit, whether you're a collector or not, there's something for every fandom AND you might even get a visit from the shop cat.

What an incredible shop! The sheer volume is incredibly overwhelming, so make sure you have at least an hour to look around. From comic books, to Pops, to figurines, collectable cards, this place has it all! We were there for about 45 minutes and I don't think we made it through 3/4 of it. So much fun!

This place is Nerd-vana!! I mean that in a good way! As a comic book collector, visiting Mile High comics has been a bucket list item for me. So I had big expectations going into my visit. It’s pretty remarkable that this place even exists, and the shear amount of stuff in the store is really mind-boggling. You really have to see this place to believe it, and so I would recommend to every kind of collector to pay it a visit if you have a chance. If you’re looking for it, there’s a good chance that they have it or can probably get it.

While this place may be the largest or biggest store of its kind, it’s certainly not the “best” comic/collectible shop that I, or I dare say that you, will ever set foot in. There’s some things that keep me from rating it five stars despite all its uniqueness. The location is not in the best part of town, which I knew going in, and therefore didn’t have a big problem with. And, the feel and atmosphere inside of the shop is a little grungy, unpolished, and a bit rough around the edges..perhaps due in part to the warehouse locale itself. To be fair, that “feel” is not entirely unusual when it comes to shops of this sort.

However, I was definitely disappointed that the sales staff that I experienced was not friendly at all. No one really greeted or spoke to me unprompted, was even slightly friendly upon interaction, or smiled — even at checkout. As a determined collector, that isn’t going to deter me a bit, but it is worth noting. More dissapointing was that their prices on their back issue comics are simply outrageous. They didn’t even reflect reality in the current marketplace. I don’t know if they are not really motivated to sell these books and don’t want to turn over inventory for whatever reason, but there were books that were overpriced to the point of being ridiculous. I realize that a lot of shops will price a book and never reprice them again, which I’m generally cool with, as it often works out in the favor of the buyer. But I saw prices that could never have been accurate. Again, this is a phenomenon that you do see in other shops. That said, during my visit they did have a big section of books that were $3.95 each, with a further discount based upon the amount of books you bought. (I did not see any $1 bins but I could have missed them.) So I did end up finding 3 nice key books for under market value which I appreciated. However, it took quite a bit of digging to find those few books, so it was a challenge. Lastly, despite the huge inventory, I still had trouble finding lots of key books or issues that I would expect to see in stock from the world’s largest comic book dealer.

Again, I want to be very clear that this place is a genuine MARVEL, and I would gladly return. I would just caution collectors to temper they’re expectations somewhat and remember that bigger doesn’t always mean better. But by all means, it’s definitely worth a visit!

Started the first leg of a national park trip in Denver and felt a primal urge in my core to make a pilgrimage to Mile High Comics. It did not disappoint and was a highlight of the trip for me. Cool stuff, well organized, and welcoming environment. It was doe awesome to see all the older issue comics and the memorabilia they have throughout the shop. I unfortunately did not buy anything as we had no room in the the luggage and I did not want to damage anything I bought in the up coming days. But now that I have been to their shop, I feel super confident in the quality of what I can expect from their online order services . I plan to lean on them heavily for some future purchase of some silver age, because I trust the quality of what I will be getting. Worth the visit if you are in Denver.

Mile High is THE comic shop of your dreams. They literally have millions of comics! Not only that, but they have tons of other cool collectibles like Funko Pops, cards, manga, posters, figures, and so much more. Walking into the store will definitely have your jaw dropping. My only criticism with the place is the price on comics. While most of the other merchandise seems to be priced at market value, so many of their comics are very over priced. Now it could be because they don't have time to re price them since there are so many, but when you see some of the comics marked up double and sometimes triple the price than what you could get on eBay is a bit disheartening. It's still a very cool place and will definitely visit again.

My kids *love* the selection of comics and collectibles. The first time I took them there, they looked at the outside like, "Is Mom crazy?" But once they got inside, they were like, "It's like Comic-Con or Fan Expo, but every day!" Staff there are helpful and as friendly as you need them to be. You can tell they're fans first rather than salespeople, and they are not at all judgemental. And as a Gen X parent, I could literally just listen to the music there all day. We are lucky to have this treasure in Denver!
