ordered sev puri and we literally got only sev and plain bland puri. Not worth it overpriced and over disappointing. Will not visit again. Giving 5 star, as can’t give 0 or in negative.

Came with a group of friends for some food and games. There is a large assortment of games here, both old and new and are in good conditions. Would be nice if shelves were organized a little better to make it easier to find games. The food was very good, came out fresh and made really well. Prices are very reasonable too, good value for those looking for a cheaper night out. Will be back again!

AVOID! Now obvious why it was COMPLETELY empty!

Mediocre drinks, sneaky policy, dusty games and dirty floors.

Although the selection of games was fairly good and the cafe was spacious, we are very unlikely to choose this board game cafe again.

To start, it’s $7 cover and minimum $4 for food or drink. We opted for their Monday $5 cocktails that ended up being warm and tasting of questionable alcohol. However, it was only at the end where the worker blamed us for not knowing their policy that it is only $5 IF purchased alongside other mediocre food. To say we were disappointed would be quite the understatement being that the drinks were significantly subpar to any standards.

We also had some milkshakes that were watery and somehow also warm. It is possible that we received an off batch of drinks but I would never recommend anything from this cafe.

As for the space; the floors were dusty and covered in small bits of leftover garbage. There were many tables but them all being empty should have been the first red flag.

The game selection was decent but all the card games we played were covered in dust and left our hands feeling grimey. The cards themselves were in pretty poor condition as well.

Overall, would highly recommend going elsewhere!

Decided to drop by. It made me miss crossroads cafes.
Food is all Indian. Not really much in the way of options for those not interested in Indian food. All said, it tasted good but there were those in my group who wouldn't buy.
Board games are not sorted by player count any more. Makes it hard to find one for your group.
Service was crappy. The woman who served us didn't seem to be interested at all.
They closed early on us. We were playing a game and we're told to pack up cause they were closing at 10pm. The sign said 11pm. We were the only group there but we paid for our time. Total rip off.
Never been a big fan of games on tap but it's better then this place. They unfortunately ruined what used to be a great spot to play games

Is there a better way to hang out with your friends than a game that combines Jenga and Cards Against Humanity? Beats me! Hoping to have some good food over board games, we rolled the dice with Pair A Dice Cafe (258 King St N Unit 11, Waterloo, ON N2J 2Y9). A revamped board game cafe that now serves Indo-Western snacks and a range of mocktails and beverages, this café has a range of board games, making it a great hangout spot, even if the menu isn't up to the mark.

While the burger and the sandwich were quite wholesome, the other dishes fell short. The paneer zingy and paneer cheese toast were overly cheesy and lacked sufficient paneer, resulting in a too spicy and heavy meal. The grilled cheese panini was unremarkable for its price. The mozzarella sticks, though tasty, were disappointingly small for their cost.

As for beverages, the Americano did the job of providing a caffeine boost but was unremarkable. The pina colada was underwhelming due to excessive crushed ice diluting the drink, and the visually appealing blue lagoon was excessively sour, with an overpowering lemon taste.

Despite the food and drinks, the cafe's staff provided excellent service, and the extensive board game collection ensured you wouldn't get bored. For just $6.79 per person, you can play as many board games as you like. While I recommend Pair A Dice Cafe for its games, it's wise to dine elsewhere if you're hungry. Recommended with reservations.

Recently visited this spot with my friends and loved the vibe they have got variety of board games, food and drinks to have perfect time with your friends. Tried their Veggie cheese toast, Paneer cheese toast, Tortizza, Veggie quesadillas, Pizza Bites, Paneer zingy parcel,Pair a dice Nachos, kurkure bhel and their non alcoholic drinks definitely recommend to try this spot

Tried the board game cafe this weekend, and it was a blast! I was pleasantly surprised by the food (I usually don’t like the food at board game cafés), I love that they have a diverse game selection! It kept us entertained. A definite win for a good time out!
