1. Poor selection of produce and all products in general.
2. The price/sales tags are always wrong. Do not attempt shopping here if you have a budget or are expecting to only spend X amount.
3. Hazardous vomit all over the restroom. It was on the floor and in the sinks and no employees addressing that.
4. Only one employee in the entire front end at all times.
5. Long lines!!! Prepare yourself for the longest self check out experience. Give yourself at least 30 minutes.
6. Customer Service area never open. Ever. One time I saw an employee over there and tried to get the actual price listed on the shelf and they said "HUH?WHAT DO YOU WANT? Yeah no, we closed." (it was noon.)

I've been living downtown Milwaukee for 5 years now and essentially we have 3 grocery stores and this is still my preference.

This one has the feel, parking lot, and entrance of a traditional suburban pick-n-save. Which I love. I always tend to want to go here over metro market for THAT alone.

Metro market is a nightmare - the location, the confusing multi level ordeal, the inner floor design and isles is uncomfortable, tight packed corner entrance for IN and OUT traffic, and strange and irksome parking setup giving me more anxiety than necessary . Don't get me started on Fresh Thyme's parking - even worse - and even less grocery options.

Not to mention I went to Metro Market mask less one time and I was FORCED to breathe through a stupid piece of fabric that DOESN'T WORK. Guy handing out masks (1 year after than pandemic mind you). What if I had asthma? The pretentious woke forced policy grocery mart vs. Lyon St. Pick N Save.

This pick n save was nicely stocked, clean, pleasant, and fun to hang around in. Warm lighting. Not harsh white LED gymnasium get out lighting. Everything was great - even their fresh food area was well stocked and full of dozens of fresh ready to cook dinners. If this place was 'ghetto' you wouldn't be seeing all that. Has the feel of a semi - busy college town grocery mart without the extra budget to hire woke controlling Karen's and taint the feel of the place. The type of market definitely without its customer service luxuries but with all the convenience of everything you need in stock - unlike downtown Walgreens where everything is OOS for WEEKS!!!

NOW the only real issue: the front end - what the actual eff? The other reviews seem to be correct as there's always one cashier (Mine was verbally expressive to the security guard she never gets any breaks either). and NO self check- outs. NONE. Yet there's a whole array of cashier kiosks I'm sure that are never used - gut 1/3 of that install self- checkout and hire a self-checkout cashier. I ALWAYS use self checkout so its strange this one hasn't updated this option. Would also probably help get that 1 cashier a break too.

Other than that - still would rather go here than give service to the Metro Market. Metro Market is so full of themselves its ridiculous - despite the fancy perks of that location - its an awful energy to be around. Some places need to understand its old world charm and tradition that's needed in modern retail establishments.

If you root for the traditional underdog that has its rusty edges but still pulls through and provides everything you need - then go to Lyon St.

They always have half of the self checkouts closed and make you wait in a huge line. I literally hate going in this place but it’s nearby.

JUST OPEN THE SELF CHECKOUTS

In town for three weeks. I came in to buy detergent and get change to wash clothes across the street. They refused to give me more than $3. Apparently they have a policy. Asked for the manager. Kim, the assistant manager, also refused. Begged for help. Not a difficult request after all. How does a grocery store as big as Kroger not have enough quarters in the store to help people make a little change. They complained this is a regular issue with this laundry place. If they know customers need help why would they not do that to help them out? There is another grocery store in town closer to my hotel. Will go there. Next stop in my quest for change was Starbucks. They were happy to help. No questions asked. I wonder which one cares about customer service?

Hey lets not have in person checkout but at the same time have half of our self checkout stations only operate between 12-4 when the only customers are geriatric and cant use them anyways.

And while were at it lets put the slowest mfer to do checkout in the liquor dept

Why stop there? Lets have a crackhead cart wrangler who is always shouting at the sky but theres never any carts in the store

Always out of stuff. Never have enough self-scan open. I know hiring is tough but compared to Metro Market just up the street is night and day. They're owned by the same company even.

The only grocery store in the area I know that locks the doors 20 minutes before they close. All I needed was a can of green beans. The old security guard who told me I couldn't come in said they already had plenty of customers.

It's getting worse and worse with every visit. Tonight there were zero manned checkout lines open. You had to self-check out. And someone spilled something when they were checking out so the single associate that was watching people check out was cleaning that up and ignoring everyone else. My requests for help were falling on deaf ears. I went to the service counter but they refused to provide any service. "You have to talk to that man over there."

And when he was done with the other checkout, another store employee came up to talk to him so I was ignored for longer. When he finally came to help me and I asked why the computer called for help, he replied, "That's just what it does. You have to be patient." And it was not spoken in a nice way.

He just reset everything. Didn't check out what the problem was. So I expect it's going to be like this EVERY TIME FROM NOW ON!

Mask policy ignored by staff and patrons. Security guard walks around the store with no mask.

Huge line to self check .
