Several weeks ago I went St Pete visiting my family. Before I drove down from Athens, GA I called ahead to see if they could take a collection of nautical books, (marine engine repair, varnishing, hull repair navigational books, etc.) because there isn’t a market for such books here, I called Wilson’s Book World.
Luke was very helpful and engaging. Great customer service!
When I arrived, the owner, Ms Wilson was fantastic! As I needed to get on the road back to Georgia, she opened early. She took the time to go through several boxes of books and give me very fair prices for each book. In fact, I was extremely happy with her offer for my books!
She was very friendly, and engaging. She is also very knowledgeable about all things ‘St Pete’. We discussed festivals, and the best restaurants and beach bars to go to. I now have a list of fun things to do and places to go next tome I’m in St Pete!
All in all, my experience with Wilson’s Book World was fantastic!
The book selection there is very good, and the folks there are great!
Truth is, they don’t deserve 5 ⭐️‘s they deserve 10 ⭐️‘s!

Very nicely stocked and organized used bookstore. The store employee was very nice! Very willing to be helpful and kind.
We bought about 10 books between the three of us and I know we will go back.
This is a small shop and the parking was kinda cramped, but a gem in my opinion. Books I picked up were priced fairly between $4-$8 dollars approx depending on size, quality and newness.

I walked here to escape, waiting at the hospital for a bit. There is an excellent selection of many different genres at a great price. Most books are under $10, and most are around $6-8. The gentleman who helped me was very kind and helpful. He noticed my hospital visitor sticker and even wished me well with what was going on.

Went here to sell some books to thin out my collection. I wasn't in the market to buy but this is a cute and cozy place that I definitely would shop at if I was looking for more books. I brought three boxes of books and within a short period of time, they had gone through and bought about 1/3 of the books. The purchase price was reasonable and the person we worked with was pleasant and friendly. I am planning to come back and do some shopping to find my next favorite book! I love to buy used books not only to save money but to prevent them from going into the landfill and a small locally owned bookstore like this one is my favorite place to buy!

This it the best bookstore in the St Pete area and I’ve tried just about all of them. The books are fairly priced, in good condition and they have a good mix of new titles and old. I have found lots of recently popular books in the store as well as classics. They also have a great resell/trade in program for books which keeps me coming back. The employees very obviously love their jobs and have been extremely helpful when looking for book recommendations. Cannot recommend this place enough!

I want to go for the first time and while the place is not huge, it has plenty of stock for any subject you want. I only had about 10 minutes and found two great craft books that I have been looking for. Both were under $10. I live on the other side of the bay from this bookstore, but I will be returning with books to sell and give them and going to look at another section next time! It’s a beautiful bookstore. Not shiny and new, but the kind of place you just want to spend some time in.

Wilson’s book world is a great spot for second hand and new books for children and adults. They also allow you to sell books to them second hand which is a nice perk. If you love books, you need to come check them out! A great family owned business
