Avoid this place at all cost if you are a woodworker. You will be broke the moment you walk through the door. Lots of fun toys and their wood selection is amazing! I've been going to the Clearwater store since the mid 2000s. Glad to have it local.

Don’t waste your time going to their advertised demo events. They were done is less than five minutes. No real information. I think I will go to Rockler next time. Big waste of time and no motivation or real info provided.

I have visited many times over the years. The old site on US 19 and the new store. They usually have what I need and the store is clean. Since COVID-19 I have ordered online avoiding the store. I never really liked going to the Clearwater location because a few of the staff were always grouchy and arrogant. I put up with it because it was convenient. So instead of ordering online I went in today and bought some tools. I put on my mask, went through the door that had a notice that masks are mandatory and I am greeted by 3 guys with no masks. They were around their necks, but not covering faces. 1 guy was disinterested even though he tried to help me find a fitting, then gave up and walked away. The other guy was cheery enough but he wasn't gonna move to far and the last guy put on a mask and rang me up. I don't know why this woodcraft has such an attitude and why they really don't care about the customers health enough to comply with mask rules. I always feel second class in this store. I have visited other woodcraft across the country and find them to be helpful and welcoming places. It must be the management. I paid $25 more for a tool i could have purchased online but I thought it would be better to support a local business, I wish you would feel the same about your customers.

I love going in this store, there's tons of different projects I could get lost in, all the folks I've met that work there are awesome people, very helpful, knowledgeable and professional. Also very polite and courteous. I could spend an absolute fortune in there on tools or exotic woods. Veneers, you name it you can find it. I am willing to bet that if you cannot find it in the store, there's going to be someone who can help you out with what you need. There have been other stores that have wood working classes on site, this store may or may not, I have not personally looked into it. Again though, I'm sure someone will absolutely be able to point you in the direction to get you what you need! Thanks guys!

Don’t waste your time with the “could care less staff” at Clearwater’s Woodcraft. Bite the bullet and drive across the bridge to the Rockler Store in Brandon. The men there couldn’t be nicer or more accommodating. All of the staff are knowledgeable and eager to help.
For woodworkers living in Pinellas County, it’s worth the drive.

Great place for one of those once in the blue moon specialty tool purchases. We don't shop there very often mostly due to Amazon and such slowly chewing on them with the more competitive pricing. Truthfully I don't know how they manage to stay in business. There is no way they can sustain themselves just by supplying materials for pencil turners. In order to stay in business they need to change their business practice by mostly focusing on tools - on latest tools interesting buyers with discounts and promotions.
