Great destination. They have 75% of the inventory that's fair market price when compared to competition, everything else is either first time sold on the shelves in our part of town so it's a trial market run or it's new brand in it's category that's new on the market. Definitely worth keeping in mind that they do offer curbside grocery pick up if you place your order thru their app or website. Been coming here since the 1st day they opened. They keep all of us healthy and happy and fed with no complaints. Thankful for everyone who contributes to this miracle of a store.

I've been to three Woodman's in the Chicagoland area and they thankfully all follow the same layout and best practices. If you shop at one Woodman's, you'll know exactly where everything is in a different location. The Buffalo Grove Woodman's is clean and spacious. There is tons of parking and somewhere on the property is a gas station with gas that is at least 20-30 cents less per gallon than other gas stations.

I've been a lifelong Chicagoan but only recently moved close enough to regularly shop at Woodman's and I'm incredibly thankful they're saving me from having to shop at Jewel.

I love shopping at Woodman's Food Market! They truly have everything I need, from fresh produce to pantry essentials and specialty items. The variety is impressive, and I’m always able to find exactly what I'm looking for in the right quantities, which is perfect for both small and bulk shopping. The prices are consistently great, making it easy to stay within my budget without sacrificing quality. Plus, the store is well-organized, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Shopping here is a breeze, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a one-stop shop with fantastic prices and options!

Love this place is great store to buy your groceries good prices in everything 100% recommended and great customer service their employees are very helpful and always trying to help customers. I hope employees keep doing a good job and keep the best prices with lake county taxes store and much better service and price than buying in other similar stores like Walmart. They receive for payments cash? any debit card? or DISCOVER credit cards this is a good way to save and earn points and money with Discover card buying groceries or gasoline⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ In the past ?2022 we were having very expensive gas prices and Woodman's gas station had the best prices around this area. We really save in gas? close to 30 to 50 cents for gallon in gasoline prices. Definitely recommended?%‍‍☕️

Horrible store. Poorly managed. Terrible website. Products past expiration date. Aggravatingly defective self checkout stations that repeatedly don't scan properly and you have to wait for a worker to fix it. Although some of their prices are pretty good, today was the last straw.

I don't think I've ever been to this store without finding products waaaaayyyy past their expiration date. We've actually found products more than a year past the expiration date. When I've complained to customer service, I've been told that they're not allowed to hire enough people to check stuff like that. Today I found multiple boxes of the same packages that were 7 months past expiration date. I purposely noted this out loud and 2 other shoppers next to me put their stuff back when they noticed that what they were buying was past expiration date as well. They both thanked me and said they never checked for that before, but will from now on. When I spoke to customer service about this before I left, I was told it's night shift's fault. The workers are on timers and not allowed enough time to do the job properly. And the crappy floor tiles with all the "click clack" as the cart goes over the tiles certainly doesn't help. Shameful.

This is in response to the ridiculous canned response, supposedly posted by the owner. Why should I waste my time contacting your store manager? If your manager needs my help to fix the store's obvious problems, you need a new manager.

What a treasure to find! It's employee owned. Be prepared with cash, check, or Discover card only. Massive selection of products. Ask for a store map at the courtesy counter...it's that big. Appreciated that aisles were broken into two sections, numerically and alphabetically. This prevented aimlessly wandering the store. Super friendly approachable staff. Be mindful of which exit from the parking lot you want to use

I had to update my review because I used to really enjoy shopping here, now it’s stressful. From the horrible sloppy crowded parking lot, with reckless drivers. The limited spots for handicapped drivers, where individuals pretty much get into conflict over the handicapped spaces.

To avoid the headache of the annoying crowds, I tried shopping here early in the morning before six, however be prepared to ring up your items because there’s never any cashiers available.

Woodman’s has an excellent variety of foods with decent prices. I’m not too fond of their produce. But overall I do the bulk of my shopping here.

However what I find extremely irritating is the lack of cashiers during the day time. I also feel that Woodman’s needs to set up an express aisle for shoppers with less than twenty items. I encountered two annoying customers in front of me with less than 10 items vs my full shopping cart. It’s selfish. It’s rude and extremely inconsiderate.
Note to management:
Start hiring consistent employees. Start implementing the policy of shoppers with less than ten or twenty items to use the self check out or an express line. And don’t act like you’re afraid to tell the customers because today one of the workers insisted I move to another line while the customer in front of me had less than ten items in her damn cart!!!!

Woodman’s you have the potential to be a great store, however your customer service is getting worse. Similar to Walmart!!

Unbelievably massive store with shockingly good deals. If you have the time and bandwidth to handle the size of this leviathan, it's worth shopping here. Pictured is some of their massive craft beer, cider and seltzer selection.

Please note that they only take Discover, cash, debit cards and properly linked mobile payment. Without a debit card in hand, I had to scrounge up enough cash for most of my purchase and drop several items. The cashiers were helpful and let me suspend my order, then remove a couple items from it to allow me to complete it. Much appreciated, but please be aware!
